"One in four people living with HIV infection in the U.S. are Women"
Who We Are?
A Sister’s Gift Women’s Center (ASG) is a community based non - profit 501 (c) 3 agency which serves females (aged 13 and up) and their families living with or impacted by HIV/AIDS. ASG is the first stand-alone HIV/AIDS agency serving women in Dallas and the first in Texas to incorporate a female - gender-based Peer-lead intervention model. This model was designed to support a platform of women’s unique needs as a mothers, caregiver, and possible victim of domestic violence, hunger, homelessness and emotional distress due to isolation and feeling stigmatized.
ASG Provides housing counseling services, 30 day medical adherence follow-up, Intake sessions for referral/navigational and Peer support counseling, emergency food pantry, emergency food assistance and emergency transportation vouchers.
A Sister’s Gift is proud to be the 2017 founding” hub” for Positive Women’s Network – Dallas chapter. ASG Peer Volunteers were instrumental in bringing Peers together to form this national advocacy group.

Daily Objective:
Our aim is to empower women to not be a victim of HIV – but the victor by incorporating “emotional and medical” wellness into her daily life. ASG is a vehicle isolated women to connect and share information to improve their lives.
VISION:
Our vision is to develop a strong network of support and information for women and their families to live a “higher” quality of life.

Our female-based programs promote “healthy thinking and living” through our Intake Process and monthly Group sessions.
